Robs got the nokia 5800 and he loves it! personally i hate touch screen phones and wouldn't have one in a million years, i just can't get on with all that scrolling, but he loves his! I've seen iphones at work and the 5800 seems to do all the stuff they do, so i think you'd do well going with option 3
( ... )
i am gonna try my luck with the Orange retentions team certainly. I've read that quite often they offer vouchers so you can buy the free gifts that you'd get by leaving them.
So, it's kinda like "Option 4 - screw Orange for every penny I can get" and if that doesn't work, then I'll go for Option 3.
Mind you, Chappers is telling me bad things about the 5800 such as them breaking after a while!?
doesn't someone always say bad things about a phone another person wants tho? I know Chappers worked (still works?) in that sector so obviously knows more than me, but I know i've been advised against getting phones and they've gone on to work brilliantly! for instance, i've had my SE w580i for about 2 years now and i've never had a single problem with it. When i bought it all i got were negative comments from people telling me it would break but its been a fantastic phone! You'll always come across a dud product now and then, you get it with everything - cars, phones, washing machines etc, dont mean they're all rubbish tho does it? maybe there was just a bad batch of them at some point? i dunno. Robs told me that a few of his workmates have the 5800 and they all think its the mutts nuts! you get a little pointy thing that comes with it too, incase your fingers are too big to do the scrolling! lol!
