i think if your heart can handle it and you can be patient enough you should take it as slow as she wants it to go and i think that will be good for both of you. lij, you know as well as i do how fast and hard you fall - please for your own good take it slow, become her friend. just chat online about w/e until she's ready for more. remember good things are worth working and waiting for. u've been hurt before too and i think taking it slow will prevent that for both of u.

Ideally, I want to say that if you really like her and think she's a good person then she's worth waiting for and working on, period, because in an ideal situation, you don't let fear push you around. But, more practically, fear and hurt are real. So I think you first need to decide for yourself 'if your heart can handle it'. If you think it can, if you're ready to try again, then definately don't let this opportunity pass you by. And, if you do, I agree with Andrea - take it as slow as it needs to be, don't push it. If you two are good for each other then it can't hurt (whereas forcing something before one of you is ready might). I dunno, I guess that's my two cents too so now you have four. Good girls are worth working for. If shes been hurt, it just means you have to prove that your not like the guy that hurt her. I agree with your other friends about taking it slow. But hey slow is more fun you really get to know the person before diving in head first. Be her friend. Show her you care about her and aren't going to give up. Whats life without risks? Your up to six cents. thats almost the sales tax on a dollar.
