Glad to hear you're getting very mobile, im quite lucky around my way as Kew and Gunnersbury park make for a great cycle route and just a stones throw from my front door. A good week would see me taking turns on a daily alternate of 3mile jog and 6mile bike ride, tho the jog has me questioning "why am I doing this?" and the bike ride "why arnt I doing this more often??" Biking is awesome :D
Also... a 47mile route is intense, even a constant average 10mph would see out the best part of 5hrs. Make sure you document any attempt!
