As it turns out, there's another reason to remember 4/20. Namely, Columbine. Jesus, did we all forget? I certainly did. And there wasn't a single blip on the cultural radar to remind me. Wow, I forgot, too. And I also caught Bowling For Columbine, albeit at around 4am, and it didn't even register then!

I remember, since I was a high school freshman, so it's kinda hard to forget due to the psychological implications and the fact that so many new rules went into place.

I remember columbine, but mainly because it was around the time Jennifer and I went on our trip to France. Sad, really.

Columbine, and everything else like it, is the culmination of the amazed look on our contry's face as it say, "what? You mean if we treat the outcasts at school like dirt they may in some way respond?"

Naturally, I don't condone such things. I think they were cowards to do such (I mean, at least have the balls to just shoot the popular kid who really gave it to you).
