Well, five years ought to be enough time for anything.

It was five years ago tonight that I made my first post to LiveJournal. Yeah, I've noticed two voices in my own postings: the angry whiner and the geek. Nowadays, one of them moved away from LiveJournal and the other doesn't have much to say.

My blogging habits need to be kicked in the crotch.

'cause the closer I get to 40, the more I need a mirror to get a glimpse of mine.

Add me or not - your choice, but if you ever have another stroke of genius like that Fontenot Family Chess Set - I want to read it.

and remember - shared pain is lessened, shared joy is increased. You might get more out of leting people onto your friends list than you think.

Spider Robinson would back me up on this. I'm sure of it.
