Is there an easy way to export my LJ posts somewhere else?

I do prefer LJ's simple format over google+ =(

I've been trying to import my posts to Dreamwidth, but without success (could be problems on LJ's end, for all I know).

Yeah, I've only been holding off on importing to Dreamwidth because I figure that won't work while the DOS attack is ongoing.

I'm not sure if I'm going to use Dreamwidth as a permanent solution, but it'd be nice to have all my old stuff backed up somewhere.

Any technical or financial particular reason you think they're going under, or just their continued failure to put the DOS's behind them?

The latter. And, if kent_allard_jr is right and Pooty-poot is behind all this, well, I'm gonna bet on the tiger-cuddling judomaster over emo Russian e/n bloggers.
