Some pilots still carry plastic wings to give to the kids in flight.  Back in the day we could even have the kids in the cockpit.  Sometimes we still allow kids to look inside the cockpit before the doors close.

It is not uncommon for us to transport children who are seriously ill.

They always get a set of wings.

Was up in Massivenuisance this weekend during the snow storm.  The snow was great and the locals don't allow the weather to impede their lives.  I ended up re-routing to a private airstrip and I picked up an very old jeep, circa 1950s, to drive into town.  The steering wheel was narrow and the interior was all metal and green vinyl.  Felt good to ( Read more... )

If the airplane didn't have functional medical equipment that is a problem, but I have very little sympathy for this passenger and this is why.

 Coffee.  My precious.

This time of year many of the passengers are carrying some coughing, hacking, sneezing, snuffling, ick.

That makes them extra special charming.

I really like the sleeper plane concept in the film the 5th Element.  Maybe we could put a little something in the passengers' coffee this morning.
