So we all know about the adorable little 10-year old mage who happens to be a teacher. We also know about that man who can cast a thousand spells and is a legend in the magic world! There's also the loli vampire and the ~*~net idol~*~. They're all really big, popular people! But who makes them that way?

Anyway, meet Kazumi Asakura. She is seat #3 in the class of 3-A and is the "official camerawoman of 3-A and the Academy Breaking News Division". She is known in school as the Mahora Paparazzi! You want news on something? She is the girl for it!
She isn't such a bad paparazzi, though! Not all paparazzi are annoying, since she isn't! She doesn't wait outside your door or chase your car or take pictures of you without any underwear on. All she wants is the glorious ~*~truth~*~, that she will or will not reveal if you pay up.
So, what relevance does a paparazzi have in this little boy meets little girl and they kiss story? WELL. There is the token school trip in the series, and the girls of 3-A wanted to know stuff about Negi (and Nodoka). They asked Asakura to check up on the two since she's good at getting information from/about/out of people! *w* Excellent. TOO BAD. She didn't want to know about Negi's love life. She wanted a big scoop, something that would make her famous and kyaa reach her dream of being a world-class journalist kyaa. Long story short, she found out about Negi's little secret-- that he's a mage!
Just like everyone else who finds out about Negi's secret, Asakura decides to help Negi out in the... most inappropriate way possible. With her help, Negi gets more "Pactio" cards through a love-love operation! She also starts calling herself Negi's manager from here on in. That's not her only purpose in the series though! Asakura is 3-A's database of information. Of course, she gets her own information through NOT stalking and NOT blackmail. She is a very clean person inside and out and does not do anything bad to anyone ever. She is also seen throughout the series as an announcer for all sorts of events.
As mentioned, Asakura's goal in life is to find the ~*~truth~*~. For the school festival, 3-A decides to go with a horror house. Of course, Asakura gets right on top of that and publishes a story in the school paper that the classroom is haunted. SURPRISE, IT APPARENTLY IS. The 3-A Extermination Team is then formed, and their goal in life is to find the real ghost of 3-A and exterminate it as soon as possible. And then the whole thing of how cameras have the ability to take pictures of the other dimension comes in this part too, since Asakura manages to snap a photo of the ghost. The extermination team get more determined since they interpreted the ghost in the photo as something that wants vengeance, so they really had to work fast! After much analyzing though, Asakura and Negi discover that the ghost only wants friends and means well...! And... that they are the only ones who can see the ghost-- Aisaka Sayo! Asakura manages to get one (1) additional friend and a ghost that follows her everywhere.
After the school festival and the battle with Chao, Negi receives advice on what to do re: missing father from Colonel Sanders. *A* Negi then decides to head to Wales and to the Magic World, since he might get more clues about the Thousand Master there. Only a select few were allowed to go with Negi to Wales, and they called themselves the Negima club. Eventually, they called themselves the White Wings/Ala Alba and had some sort of membership badge! Thank you, Eva. During this adventure, things go not as planned and the whole class gets scattered all over the magic world! Everyone's head gets put a bounty on too, including Asakura! Once she meets Negi, she is turned into a kid for protection purposes. She also gets her very own Pactio card too, hurrah! So now, aside from Asakura having human powers of stalking and the like, she gets super-natural powers of stalking!
And now for personality! It's pretty much a giveaway on how Asakura really is. Asakura is a troublemaker. She likes exciting things and will do anything to get the inside scoop on whatever it is that excites her. She's upbeat, very energetic and really friendly! She is one of the crazies in the class and definitely knows no shame! Do you want to see her naked? WELL, she will take off her clothes for you! Do you want to touch her breasts? WELL, that might be awkward but GO AHEAD. Of course, everything she does comes with a price. If you want to see her naked, then you'd probably have to exchange some very relevant pieces of information! Basically, Asakura is a tricky, tricky, trickster. She is very cunning, which is why she is an A+ stalker ;w;! She's also very intuitive and is quick to pick up on things. If she thinks there is something going on, she'll immediately start digging up news on it until she gets the truth.

Hello again, Islanders! This is the Mahora Paparazzi, Asakura Kazumi, reporting to you live from the Island! We've been receiving some requests to clarify certain unrelieved sexual tensions between certain people! That's right! I am bringing to you, the real deal between Riku and Laharl!
People have been saying-- "THEY SHOULD JUST GET IT ON!", while some people assert that they are just friends. What is going on, really? Well, let me present to you: exhibit A. We really don't have any other exhibits to show, but this is incriminating evidence, and that's all that is needed.
What we have here is a video of Riku and Laharl talking at the local cafe! The inside scoop here is that Riku texted Laharl and wanted to meet up with him. Laharl was too busy building relationships with his other friends (who are really busty, may I add ♥), and had to reschedule the week after Riku's invitation. When they finally met, Laharl ordered a glass of chicken blood, while Riku had tea!
Anyway, it is really obvious with this clip alone that Riku wanted confirmation himself! And they are just friends. Look at their awesome dance at the end of the video! It really is a dance of friendship!
