I got a job.

I went in for my second interview at Olive Garden today and they pretty much hired me on the spot. They told me what I need to wear when I'm working and when the training sessions are scheduled to start. I'll hear back from them this weekend to confirm that I start training a week from tomorrow ( Read more... )

The Rhino Room. I've been there. It's a really nice restaraunt too!
I love that place!

There is good money to be made waiting tables at Olive Garden. I usually brought home around $400-$500 a week in tips. That was about average. Sometimes I made more, sometimes I made less, depending on business and what section I got.

Was it Tim who interviewed you? He's okay, most of the time. Both of the other managers I worked under have transferred out of that store. However, some of the other servers I worked with are still there.

I know you put your number in my journal a few days ago, and I would love to hang out sometime, but...and forgive me for this...I don't know your name! And do you know mine??

My hame is Colin and I assume your name is Rebekkah, but I could be wrong.

I interviewed with Tim (the service manager) today, and I interviewed with Mike (the general manager) yesterday. They're suppossed to be calling me this weekend and tell me when I'm supposed to start training.

Call me up whenever you want. I'd love to get together and hang out. I'm actually in Florence right now, hanging out with a couple of guys that we met online.

Colin, it's nice to meet you. And yes, my name is Rebekah (only one K) :)

I work 'til midnight every night, except Friday when I work morning shift. I get off at four then. Maybe we could hang out Friday night or something? How old are you, by the way?

Tim's cool, for the most part. Sometimes he's a little anal...too bad Jerome and Will don't work there anymore. They were a riot. I don't know who Mike is.

But you'll make decent money there, especially on Friday nights. It wasn't unusual for me to walk with $100, even after tipping out.

Yeah, Friday night would be cool. I'm 20 (turning 21 on February 28) and Brian is 21. Just call my cell phone and we'll figure something out.

How old are you? Our birthdays are one day apart; big party maybe? What would you like to do on Friday night?

I'll talk to you later.

That sounds awesome. I'm totally jealous about the whole Rhino room thing. Maybe I'll come visit you sometime if I can rake in the dough for some travel. And I would totally love to be called a "young west coast cat" by some old jazz guy.

p.s. you should update your site!

I think we'll have the site updated today. I've been editing content and Brian is formatting everything as we speak. We need to go to my uncle's house to do some laundry, so I think we'll be updating the site while we're there.

Yeah, the Rhino Room was awesome. You would have dug it.

I'd love for you to come down and hang out for a while after we get a place. We'll talk about that some more in the future.
