My uncle took us on a five mile dessert mountain hike.  it was gorgeous and a really neat experience with a totally different ecosystem.  the water just happened to be flowing (rarely is) for us and we got to hang out at a rushing waterfall.  and we saw a roadrunner and a dead javelina :( and lots of huge giant cacti and pretty rocks and a lot of ( Read more... )

did you see Mars tonight?  it was/is visible. and a big bright beautiiful full (?) moon! and a bright shiny Sirius.  i am in tucson and it looked really amaziing comiing over the desert mountains. 

Wilie and I have been just having/experimenting with just whatever sleep patterns -  getting up earlier/whenever we wake up, getting up and being active if we wake up in the middle of the night, etc. (more him than me because I tend to sleep straight through the night mostly).  and it’s interesting to note the differences in wakefulness and energy ( Read more... )
