Gender/Pronoun Update, sort of

Yeah, I'm taking a class called "Queer Bodies in Psychotherapy", this semester, and am now identifying as "queer". I don't see it as a total blanket term, though. I still consider myself bisexual, in an open relationship, and femme.
I'm not totally up on all the terms. I'm willing to change my behavior, but I don't always "get" everything. I mean c'mon! I'm 46. When I was in late teens/early twenties, even "queer" was a bad word that gay and lesbian folks found derogatory.
Thanks for the carpal tunnel BDSM suggestions, BTW. I'd like to hear more - like how you go about daily life (typing, opening bottles on bad days, etc.). I actually called into work - not sick, but "having a really bad pain day". I took a high-powered anti-inflammatory about twenty minutes ago. I hope it helps, because I have a fair amount of typing to do today.
Thanks again,
S.
