Transit and A Change in Plans

Back in Asheville but my checked bag only made it to Atlanta.  It will be delivered.  Waiting in the pile of mail was a thin envelope from CIIS.  Rejection.  Not moving back to the Bay Area for school after all.  :(  ASU it is.  Being near the people I love it isn't.  I'm feeling pretty slapped around by the universe right now.

Wow. That sucks. I wonder what CIIS is looking for.
ASU is what? State university, sounds like. Damn, that is such a bummer.
It was cool to see you on the BART while you were here. I didn't even have time to chat when we were both at FM on Friday.
Hang in there. Depending on your life philosophy, there's probably a reason. Don't know if that helps right now. If you were trying to get into the ICP program, I think it's impacted. That could be why.

ASU = Appalachian State University. It's here in NC.

I was trying to get into the expresssive arts therapy program.

Yeah, that's a small, close-knit program. Maybe they just had too many people. Anyway, maybe something good will happen at Appalachian State.
CIIS can actually be kind of annoying. Everyone with their "focus on the positive, negativity is something we can't handle" hippie stuff.
And it's so small that if you're having any kind of problem, it's like the entire school knows.K.
