Seemingly as though carried off by the silent breath of the night, people come and go.

An angel. A child. A mad king. All without word, they have left.

...I pity the world that king returns to. A nation ruled by such a man has nothing but pain and failure awaiting it in the future. So different our opinions were, I had trouble ( Read more... )

A good leader rules by the laws. The laws of science, that is!

That is...interesting, to say the least.

As odd as it may seem, my own leader actually believes that. In his own strange, twisted, and perverse way, of course.

Twisted? Perverse?

I just don't see how those adjectives could be used to describe a leader like that in any scientific sense!

That, my dear, is because you have never met him. He has many distinct quirks, but I accept him as my leader nevertheless. He does have a very strong interest in science, though. If you are willing to call what he does science, at any rate.

Oh, of course, that is easy. As my lady proves by shining example, the best leader is one who cares for those they lead.
A leader that does not is not a leader - such a person is just someone who happens to run ahead.

Hmhm, that is true. I have a tendency to forget that Miss Beryl is a leader in her own right.

Which is tragic on my part: considering she has two of the most dedicated and faithful comrades I have ever had the grace to meet, that is proof enough of Miss Beryl's abilities as a leader.

Very well.

A leader owes his people what his position requires of him. If, for example, a politician is democratically elected by the people to fulfill a certain purpose, it his duty to fulfill that purpose--the desires of his people become his own. If the leader of a revolution is selected to oust an unfit dictator, then he must succeed for his people.

I see.

I must admit to not being personally familiar with any sort of democratic process beyond the Dark Assembly, much less democracy as a whole.

Well.. I would say a badass ultimate attack.. but that only goes so far.

Plus not everyone will think it's badass... but it doesn't hurt...

I think ya have to.. well.. ya know make sure they stay in good condition and stuff.. give em somethin to fight for! All of my soldiers are willing to battle Zetta at any time because they know if they win, they'll be the best around!

At least.. I'm pretty sure..
