Today I applied for a news position at a radio station in...wait for it...Yellowknife. Jobs in the north usually pay really well and it's not like I'd have much it spend it on up there. Crisis averted! The Tallmobile is up and running again and safety inspected for about 12% of what GM wanted and said I needed. I went to a shop my Uncle recommended today and that was the result. So my MVI (motor vehicle inspection) on the car ran out in November and being an idiot I decided to get another one, you know, whenever. That ended up being yesterday. I take the car to the dealership where I bought it. Yes they charge an assload for labour but the way I see it, they're qualified to do it, the parts are all there, so I don't mind ( Read more... )
