In exciting news, I finally got my orders. I'm going to Norfolk, Virginia on the USS Monterey (CG-61). It's a Ticonderoga class guided missle cruiser. Very cool. I'll be here in Pensacola until around January or February then I'm headed to Norfolk. I really wanted to go to San Diego or Hawaii but I didn't have those options. So far Florida is freakin awesome. I go to the beach on the weekend...get to live and eat for free...I start school tomorrow...and best of all I get paid for this. The only downside is in 4 to 10 months I'll be required to go risk my life on a semi frequent basis. Especially if I'm on a submarine like I want to be.
