A Taiwan famix! I have come to adore what Taiwan has become in my head. Based on mostly my interpretations of history + my own characterizations. There's a stronger focus on the 20th Century than anything else, but there you go.

I'm downloading this, yes. Some artists I haven't heard of before, so that's good. I'm making my own fanmix for her, but it's has a different pairing mentioned (although the romantic songs on the mix could be about Hong Kong too...) :x

Oh, and about Japan: in my headcanon she yells at him ("What kind of boyfriend are you?! Why aren't you doing something?!") for being China's doormat in regards to certain issues like his reaction to the Taiwan strait crisis...from what I've read, attitudes towards Japanese occupation in Taiwan are...peachy, at least in comparison to attitudes on the Mainland. Or maybe it's just my pairing bias XP

But if there's too much politics I can't pair anybody from Asia up with anyone... I think Taiwan doesn't lean on anyone emotionally, although she appreciates martial support.

I've listened through this fanmix. I like "Pearl's Dream" and "24" the most because of the sheet intensity of emotion. "Strawberry Gashes" could make a great MAD video.

I seriously like this. First of all, my Taiwan bias shows. Uhm. Second of all, the songs seem to fit her so well, and it's such in beautiful chronology that I listen to it over and over~ <3
