I have a new goal…

It’s simple really. I want to go back to college.

But not the kind of college you think of. When I look back on what I really, really got out of college it was two things:

"stable enough" -- boy doesn't that really cover it. Life is waaaaay too bouncy at times.

I was very surprised at the breadth of adult offerings some of the colleges out here have. I would hope Seattle is different.

Would you pursue formal music training?

That's a really good question. I'll admit, the one thing that's always held me back is that I remain somewhat a generalist, poking at my various amateur talents but never focussing on them long enough to truly develop them. It might be another mistake to do so, but if I went back to school... I'd probably start with some basic steps in each prominent direction - music composition, graphic design, media production - and see which tugs at me the most.

Of course, I still have the worry that this decision will never really clarify, but at least I'll get somewhere with the classes in the meantime. *grin*
