How much time do you think it takes a person to drastically change who they are? Can the right, dramatic event do it in a matter of seconds/minutes/hours, or does it take longer for it to gradually start really truly sticking to your personality and becoming part of who you really are?

Do you think over the course of your life you've grown more as a result of careful consideration and prolonged effort on your part, or as a result of how you've reacted to the really huge, sudden things?

Long term. Unless it's some sudden thing like Ragin dying that might put you in a funk for a while and then maybe you could develop a bad habit or something during that time, but still it would be the repetitive things that change personality.
