So I was on my way out to a jobsite, and pulled up to a stoplight. At the bus stop right next to me, an old guy wearing an embroidered "Kansas" sweatshirt with sunflowers all over it and holding his two week pillcase was standing unsteadily. Hahaha. I was at our family fourth of July thingey that we do every year, and they had a book, written by a uncle in law or something of mine, where he and a photographer climed to the top of the highest point in every state, and then told the story and showcased it with photos. On mt. sunflower, there is a square area fenced in with an old ranch style wooden fence, 20' on a side, a sign that say's Mt. Sunflower on it, and another huge branch stuck straight up in the group, about 20' tall. It is in the middle of a flat plain. Even the writer was like "We parked about 30 feet from the 'summit'." I was so happy I almost peed my pants to see it.

You Topekans are strange. I read an article the other day where a guy in Topeka went to rob a store but wasn't satisfied with the cash he received, so he stayed and worked the counter till the police showed up...
