{Original}-50 Sentence Challenge
Eeeeh, posted it to my deviantArt and tumblr, so why not here too!
Random sentence challenge thing I found on deviantArt. At first I was going to do different characters for each one, but then I changed my mind. The main characters are Zofia Huber, Aleksy Kowal, Lukas Kraus, and Johan Weber, members of my (fictional) German metal band Spektakel ("Spectacle" in German).
Some of these are a bit "PG-13" (there's mentions of sexual contact, and one swear word), but I don't think it's worth filtering it?
#01 - Motion
Johan watched as the crowd shifted towards the stage as Zofia strutted up to the microphone.
#02 - Cool
As Aleksy finished playing, Lukas gave his approval with a simple "ist cool."
#03 - Young
"She's young," one of the producers assured Zofia's father, "she'll learn how to deal with the press eventually."
#04 - Last
"So, this will be our last song," Zofia said, followed by an expected groan of disapproval from the crowd.
#05 - Wrong
The band winced collectively as Johan mis-fingered a chord.
#06 - Gentle
It was moments like this, his head resting in her lap as she ran her fingers through his mohawk, Johan almost forgot just how cruel Zofia could be.
#07 - One
"Just one," Zofia whispered as she unbuckled Johan's belt, smirking as she dropped to her knees.
#08 - Thousand
"A thousand sales, and it's only been out for a few hours," their manager said, eyes wide with disbelief.
#09 - King
"If I'm the metal queen," Zofia said, her eyes not leaving the TV, "does that make you or my father the king?"
#10 - Learn
"You've been in Germany for 20 years," Aleksy teased Zofia, "you should know better German than that."
#11 - Blur
Aleksy was nothing more than a neon pink and black blur as he stage-dived into the hands of an eager crowd.
#12 - Wait
Zofia climbed off of Johan's lap as the stage manager gave them a five minute notice, shaking her head as he opened his mouth to protest.
#13 - Change
"We're changing," Aleksy said, peeking out from behind the curtain to Lukas and Johan, "you two should be too."
#14 - Command
"I said beg," Zofia commanded, something playful in her bright blue eyes as she stared down at Johan.
#15 - Hold
As the sat, waiting to hear if they won the award, Zofia gripped Johan's hand so tight he was sure she would break it.
#16 - Need
"Ich brauche dich," Zofia murmured, pulling Johan towards her hotel room.
#17 - Vision
For a moment, the stage lights blinded Zofia, and the next thing she saw were hands eagerly reaching up to her.
#18 - Attention
Clearly, Aleksy's new boots were of more interest to Zofia than what their manager was saying.
#19 - Soul
When Zofia put her contacts in, her eyes seemed even more piercing than normal, looking straight to the soul of whoever she made eye contact with.
#20 - Picture
"God, I look riduclous with that haircut," Zofia said with a laugh, discarding the photo of her in highschool with a short fauxhawk.
#21 - Fool
"Głupi," Zofia muttered, glaring daggers at her father's back.
#22 - Mad
"You're sooo not getting any tonight," Aleksy told Johan, as Zofia's eyebrows narrowed briefly before her expression turned blank.
#23 - Child
"You're just a child," he said, "who's trying to play with the adults."
#24 - Now
"Now, Spektakel!" the MC shouted into the microphone, the crowds' screams drowning him out.
#25 - Shadow
The only real reason Zofia wanted to be famous was to put her father in her shadow.
#26 - Goodbye
"This is the part where you hang up, Johan," Zofia chuckled.
#27 - Hide
Lukas glanced out from behind the curtain at the waiting paparazzi below with an annoyed sigh.
#28 - Fortune
Zofia always, always cashed her royalty checks, an honest smile creeping onto her face as she flipped through the stack of bills.
#29 - Safe
It was one of those expected-but-not moments, when Zofia would come in from talking to press and fans, sit on Johan's lap, and just curl up against him, sighing in relief as he nuzzled the top of her head and wrapped his arms around her.
#30 - Ghost
"Geist," Zofia said after she read through the lyrics, and the rest of the band members just nodded in agreement.
#31 - Book
Zofia flipped to the end of the biography on her father's band, eyebrows narrowing instantly, "as usual, they make it sound like my fault they broke up."
#32 - Eye
With her hair covering one of them, Zofia's visible eye seemed even brighter than before--"Idiot, I use contacts."
#33 - Never
Johan never knew if he should take it seriously when Zofia said something would never happen; she said she'd never have sex with him, after all.
#34 - Sing
Zofia loved the sound of Johan's voice--it was the exact opposite of her father's, and blended perfectly with hers.
#35 - Sudden
Apparently, Zofia was the only one who saw Lukas' sudden divorce coming.
#36 - Stop
"Stop, stop, that was terrible," Zofia said, giving Lukas a pointed glare.
#37 - Time
"...I don't remember you finishing so quickly before," Zofia said, one eyebrow raised as Johan hid his humilated face behind one hand.
#38 - Wash
Johan knew there wouldn't be much washing when Zofia snuck into the shower with him, but he tried to nonetheless.
#39 - Torn
"Shit," Aleksy hissed, wiggling his finger through the hole in his skirt.
#40 - History
"Greatest band in history," Zofia scoffed, throwing the newspaper across the room.
#41 - Power
"Great," they said in unison as the power in Johan's basement went out.
#42 - Bother
"Come on Johan, you gotta let me see. Please? Come oooooon, I need to know the music more than you," Aleksy whined, attempting to hang all over Johan's shoulders.
#43 - God
"For an atheist, you sure do say 'god' a lot," Aleksy teased Zofia as she emerged from her hotel room with Johan, earning a punch to the back of his head.
#44 - Wall
The wall was filled with signatures from all the musicians who had performed at the club, and of course Zofia made sure hers was one of the largest--and also covered her father's.
#45 - Naked
Zofia, practically naked, on the front cover of a music magazine--Aleksy and Lukas had to talk Johan out of buying them all off the newsstand.
#46 - Drive
"Drive," Zofia's father said, knocking on the window seperating the driver from the back of the limo.
#47 - Harm
"You've done enough harm already," Aleksy snapped at the reporter as Zofia hid her face in her hands, Johan wrapping an arm around her shoulders to hide her shaking.
#48 - Precious
"You, Aleksy, and my mother are the most precious me," Zofia explained to Johan, her voice barely above a whisper, "don't make me try to seperate that."
#49 - Hunger
Johan had never seen Zofia eat anything as quickly as she ate Polish food.
#50 - Believe
"We'll be famous," Johan assured Zofia, "more famous than your dad ever was."
