So yeah, Origins rocked. I was solidly reminded of how much I miss hanging out at the big bar on 2 and I will darned well be back next year. This time with more planning involved. I worked my butt off but it was worth it. Spent the days painting in the booth or wandering the dealers hall (found some nice deals) and the evenings mostly at the bar ( Read more... )

Nah, that's the easy part. Then she has to PAINT it. By GenCon. :/ It's only a month late... I hope they don't mind presenting unfinished work.

*sigh* I miss the big bar on 2!
It's the only convention left that I actually still love and look back a fondly, but the only one I've promptly missed 3 years in a row now. I know my friend Josh would exctatic if I make it out next year,.... if I do I hope we can hang out at the bar again like 3 years ago.

Also, I'd like to see you soon. Lemme know....

Yeah, that'd be cool, I got your message on Tuesday after we'd already headed out for teh day. Honestly my scheduale is packed these days. You hitting faire this weekend? Cause I'm heading of to NY on Wednesday and that's about the only time I can think of I might be available. Otherwise it will have to be hugs in passing till thigs settle down which has to happen evetually right? Riiight??
