First of all, I have to apologize for being so incredibly inactive for the past week, especially to poor hetaland!
My internet has been a tad screwy this week. Well, either that, or it temporarily despised LJ.

Congrats on your win; those are all such great posters (though Gaston's made me lol rather hard)

Ah accents, my favorite things in the world (well, one of them anyway XD) if I go anywhere else in the US, people can pick out that I'm from New England in a heartbeat, even though most people here don't have thick accents (contrary to what most people think) I suppose when you live with it, you don't really notice.

Personally, I love the accents other Germanic language speakers have (German, Swedish, Dutch, etc.) I met a German exchange student who would constantly forget the concept of the silent E, so he always said things like lov-eh instead of love; it was so adorable. Of course, then all the Germans thought we had cute accents because our teacher is Austrian, so we all developed American accents with Austrian undertones.

It has been a tough week for me and my country *sobs* but I'm not going to rant about that in your journal. I already screwed up mine with that.
IN THE OTHER HAND, THERE'S A BUNCH OF NORDICS IN HV3 AND I'M DYING!!! x'O

And my favourite accents are...
German, Danish and Russian. Because I like strong, powerful accents. I don't know why... ;p
In English only I think Japanese is good too, I think is the most entretaining of all. Specially because when you hear them speaking english you cannot understand 98% of WTH they're saying... ;P
When it comes to Spanish I enjoy listening and trying to pronounce the "Gringo" (Guatemala's a.k.a. for American) accent, is like... I don't know. All I know is that an american almost never will pronounce spanish 100% correctly but it still is good for me.
