Hey! People of Luceti, I'm Gippal, I was leader of the Machine Faction back in my world, and I've decided to start a Luceti branch up here. Well, in Spira all our Machines, or what Yevon called "Machina", were lost some thousand years ago during a war. So what the Machine Faction did, in a nutshell I suppose, was go around and bring the lost artifacts of our more prosperous past back into use.

We used the new found Machines to help Spira out as best we could.

Eh, it's more about just takin' care of things here Duo. I'm offering lessons on machinery though, if you're curious anyways.
