So, I went to court today to fight another bunch of traffic tickets I got for riding my bike in the lane. I've won a case for the same citation previously in the same township, but this time the judge decided against me, for no reason that I could see, other than he didn't want to disagree with the officer who issue me the tickets. The posted speed limit was 45mph. There was only one lane of traffic in either direction. I was in it.

I don't know why this is important. I was riding right past the courthouse in Hopewell township, on Washington crossing road.

there's one for failure to keep right while riding a bicycle, one for failure to comply with an officer's request, one obstruction of traffic, and one delaying traffic. these are all in new jersey.

39:4-14.2, 39:4-10.11 Operating Regulations.
Every person riding a bicycle on a roadway shall ride as near to the right roadside as practicable exercising due care when passing a standing vehicle or one proceeding in the same direction. A bicyclist may move left under any of the following conditions: 1) To make a left turn from a left turn lane or pocket; 2) To avoid debris, drains, or other hazardous conditions on the right; 3) To pass a slower moving vehicle; 4) To occupy any available lane when traveling at the same speed as other traffic; 5) To travel no more than two abreast when traffic is not impeded, but otherwise ride in single file. Every person riding a bicycle shall ride in the same direction as vehicular traffic.
