bags

I'm sure that this topic has come up before so, sorry, but:
it's time for me to replace my $1 flea market timbuk2. Any recommendations other than Timbuk2 or chrome. Any feedback on Chrome bags? any experience with Manhattan Portage bags?

thanks!

Also, who saw Bike Porn? It played at the Roxie in SF. I think it was a west coast only thing.....

I love chrome bags. Totally waterproof and sit on your back awesome, not getting in the way. Pretty comfy too. I'd recommend them.

Chrome Bags rock my socks. I would take mine over a Timbuk any day.

I recently got a Chrome bag, and I looooovvve it. It hugs my body perfectly, and I can put tons of stuff in it (I have the second largest size). I like it a lot better than the Timbuk2 bag I used to use.

Think I might have to go with a chrome...they do feel damn comfy. Gotta love a padded strap. Plus, in SF if you are a member of the San Francisco Bike Coalition, they give you a discount at their store.

There are a bunch of posts about this in bikepirates. You should look through them; you'll probably find some good recommendations.
