WHAT A KICK ASS PREMIERE!!! I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
Benny seems like an awesome character and I can't wait for more of him. I also want some Dean/Benny porn. Because that conversation they had at the end can totally be interpreted like they had a ~thing in purgatory. And he's so big and tough and has that stupid tough guy voice...
I loved the greeting Dean gave Sam, how he seems soo hyper and messed up. And he cut his arm twice this episode, which is a thing I'm into. AND he went straight for the beer. :,D The scene at the vending machine was good too.

"So, what, you just turned tail on the family business?" "Nothing says 'family' quite like the whole family being dead." What a great comeback. I'm so torn on what to think about Sam's choice to give up hunting. I don't think it was out of character at all. While I know he has the right to, and that it would be so awful being a hunter completely alone, I just can't understand how he can know people are dying and just say "not my problem." I don't know if it's admirable or despicable. I do think it's something that Dean would never be able to do and I don't expect him to accept it easily.
I also really like what Dean said about feeling pure in purgatory. On twitter saltedshotgun said that Jensen said Dean's PTSD this season is going to be like something out of Hurt Locker. and Dean's speech about it being like combat every day, and it being awful and traumatic but feeling pure is pretty much exactly what a lot of books I've read by Vietnam veterans express as well. I'm unbelievably excited to see where they go with this.
Also Kevin Tran got cute and bad ass! I like him now.
Anyway, I thought this was a really strong and exciting episode and I'm dying to see what happens next.
