I haven't seen the new ep yet (er, I'm still on 8x16) but I've caught glimpses on Twitter and episode stills and whatnot. Is it weird that I'm kind of finding the prospect of all this Sam H/C actually pretty appealing??? idek, because all my personal H/C thoughts are about Dean, and it's not like I'm planing to actively seek out Sam H/C fics now. But I read about these eps and I'm just like, YEAH BRING IT. UGH YES WANT. Maybe I'm just a canon chameleon.

I'd be absolutely down for Season Dean Space 9 still, of course. But you know. XP When has this not been true. Even in the arguably Dean-centric S3, though, I was way more interested in Sam that year. Why is fandom so confusing???

I don't know if it's weird, but I'm jealous! I wish I could appreciate the Sam h/c, but at least it's a lot more tolerable for me than the Hallucifer stuff. And I still love this season a whole lot, even with all the Sam stuff that squicks me.

Yay, I'm glad you liked it! There were so many post-ep h/c ficlets where Dean was the one taking care of everyone and I was like ewwww noooOOOO *stamps foot* TAKE CARE OF DEAN!

Yeah, I kind of do agree with you on that too. Some episodes this season I've really just watched and laughed like "damn, sucks to be a Sam fan." I'm not really unhappy with Dean's plot at all this season, I just wish they'd let him break out of this role of having to take care of everyone. And I always keep hope that Sam being "purified" means that he will be less angsty in the future. :P
