Happy Rapture!
So, Supernatural didn't air here in Chicagoland. I had my friend over to watch it so we just wound up watching Jackass Number Two instead, because we are classy.
They're showing it on Sunday but I will be watching my Bulls beat the Heat so I went ahead and watched it online. The video quality sucked but whatcha gonna do.
Let It Bleed
I'm not really sure what I think of Lisa, and what is true of what the demon said. In 6.01 she told Dean it was the best year of her life. I always thought that was a total BS thing to say. Now I'm thinking it might not have been a total lie because she really did want things to work out. I doubt that she sees Ben as such a burden, but I think it's likely that she sees Dean as 'the worst mistake she ever made.'
The Man Who Knew Too Much
...Now for Cas. I'm not his biggest fan and I hope this doesn't come out as bashing.
He's acting like he didn't do anything wrong. Everyone (on tumblr at least) is acting like he's not at fault for anything. Like, "all his friends betrayed him, and he broke." (See: this gif) Well, Cas started working with their enemy behind their backs! How is that not betrayal? Even if he had good intentions, how can they blame Dean for not trusting him? I'm not saying he shouldn't trust Cas, just that he can't be expected to. I mean, It's obvious Cas still cares about them but I don't think that means he's trustworthy. I understand why Cas was driven to what he did, but I don't think it's any excuse.
I love Cas as a character and a bad ass, but I don't really like him. I don't feel like Sam & Dean owe him anything or that some huge injustice was done against him.
AND I can't even express how much I hope next season is about Winchesters versus God.
Feel free to tell me if you think I'm wrong about or overlooked something. I've only seen most episodes this season once so it's entirely possible I'm forgetting something that might change my opinions.
I'm excited to see Sam & Dean's mental states in season 7, and also for FIC!!!!!!
In other news: I got a 31 on my ACT, which I'm not really happy with... hopefully when I take it again I'll do better on the math & science portions. Also I have 1.5 days to make this research paper presentable... blah.

- Holy shit that was so sad. I'm really glad that Lisa and Ben got to survive and have a happy ending but JESUS CHRIST. ;_; It's so sad that Dean thinks it'd be better for them that he never even met them. It's so sad that he's right. I love that Sam disapproves.
