Oh man! I can't stand missing any episodes of Breaking Bad! Jim Beaver wasn't in it for very long, but it was one of my favorite Jesse episodes. You should totally watch it sometime.

YES that was my first thought too! Like some Breaking Bad/Supernatural crossover. That would be amazing.

YESSSS. I'm late to the Breaking Bad party but I watched all of it this fall and I totally had that Bobby squee moment too. AND NOW I CAN SHARE IT WITH YOUUU.

Yaaay! It is such a great show!! Probably my favorite ever, actually. And Jesse needs almost as many hugs as Dean does. ♥

FOR REAL. There are strong parallels I think between Dean and Jesse and between Sam and Walt. And I love them all but I don't super-duper need h/c in Breaking Bad, and my theory is that it's at least partly because the Dean figure (Jesse) is in the um. The sub position? In Supernatural Dean is the big brother, he dominates, and when Sam takes care of him there's a role reversal. In Breaking Bad, Jesse's in the sub position, so it makes my heart warm and happy when he and Walt look out for each other but I don't neeeeed to see the love particularly flow in that direction in that sexy Sam-and-Dean way.

*breathes*

Yeah there are definitely so many similarities between Jesse and Dean! I never gave much thought to if Sam and Walt are alike but I can totally see it now. Especially, wow, in season 4 of both series: Dean and Jesse are both like "I'm the bad guy," and spiraling, and Sam/Walt is taking charge and kind of heading for the dark side. COOL.
The role reversal thing makes a lot of sense. I was absolutely desperate for hurt!Jesse fic for a while but I couldn't ever find any... and then Jesse got even angstier on the show so I was pretty satisfied. :P
MAN I need new episodes sooo baad.
