I thought this was a pretty decent episode. I had really low expectations because the idea of Dean having a monster baby just was not appealing at all and sounded like it would make for a horrible, unenjoyable episode. It was very enjoyable, though!
- Was it just me or was Dean totally flirting with that cute morgue worker?! In my mind he flirts with everyone in every conversation. Sigh.
- "Dating, right? Euh." is probably the least Dean Winchester sentence he has ever uttered. I imagine a part of him died when he heard that come out of his mouth.
- A sex scene set to AC/DC interspersed with a murder scene is just SO SUPERNATURAL and perfect. Although the close-ups were pretty stupid and pointless and distracting.
- I looooved their subtle conversation about condoms.
- I just thought that most of the ep was pretty obvious. Like, how have you guys not realized what is going on by now???
MAJOR DISCONTENT: IF THEY ARE DOING THE BOBBY'S GHOST THING I WILL BE SO ANNOYED. That will be one of the worst things they have ever done, in my opinion. It seems entirely out of character for Bobby and kind of devalues his death. PLEASE just let it be Dean's wishful thinking. Also, Sam doesn't care how Dean deals? I hope he was just saying that to not seem overbearing to Dean because how can he see Dean's alcoholism and be okay with that and not worry???
ETA: Also! I've been reading The Hunger Games - it's not really my kind of book, but I absolutely love Peeta and Katniss. Katniss is like the Anti-Bella (as in Twilight), and Peeta is just an adorable little baby. And basically what's happening with the romance in the part of the book I'm at is exactly what I would want to read if I were to read Hunger Games fanfic. EXCEPT IT'S IN THE ACTUAL BOOK!!!! ♥__♥ There are infected legs and FEVER SNUGGLES and fabulous hurt/comfort!!
