I was actually insanely offended when the Bradinator made that comment.
Here she is, spazzing out over the political correctness of post partum depression and Mrs. Alito, and she thinks she can make horrible statements like "all teenagers have a depressive side".

I mean, depression is a medical condition.
Some people have it, and some people don't.
To throw all teenagers into one indistinguishable melting pot of angst and existentialism is not only incorrect - it's rude.
I mean, some people are happy.
And some people are sad.
And some people just can't cope, so they say they're sad when they're actually just pathetic.
Are they all the same?
I think... not.

I don't think it's the "teenager mentality". Just because our ages end in the word "teen" doesn't mean we lack intellect. Ohhh, Mrs. Brady, what an obnoxious thing to say...

Plus, the one way she could guarantee that EVERYONE in the class would read Sylvia Platt is by telling us it's "dangerous". I know I googled the woman!

"And some people just can't cope, so they say they're sad when they're actually just pathetic."

Can you explain what you meant by that please.

That makes sense. But you are categorizing people by their natures:('There are individuals who are simply resilient and cheerful by nature'). What I am trying to say is that there is no 'simply resilient' and there is no 'cheerful.' There are hints of all of those things in all personalities, but some are more expressed than others ( ... )

K so, Caitlin still disagrees with you.

Thanks for that bit of mental stimulation, though. Practice for MT, maybe?
