I had another Midol-inspired dream last night. I don't know what the fuck are in those things. It says just aspirin and caffiene (caffiene makes cramps worse, btw, so I don't know why they put that in there) but every time I take one--that is to say half of the recommended dosage--it throws me for a complete loop. I start to lose fine motor control

I figure with unresolved dreams that you should just let them go for a while, until you either dream them again, or dream something else that completes the story arc. Perhaps you should take some experimental midol tonight? (another hit ;)

For me, the bit of this dream that sticks out is the happiness -- you may be working hard and living in a tiny apartment, but you are happy anyway. How does this relate to your current situation -- do you feel unhappy because you aren't working enough? Unhappy because you feel you should be happy with your own apartment and job, but aren't? Do you want to live somewhere above ground, rather than in a basement apartment?

I think that definitely living in a basement apartment is getting to me. I never fully appreciated my need to look out of windows until I couldn't (and see something besides a brick wall, anyway).
