I have been having nightmares of late about Kenso-chan. I can't remember them any more except a chunk from last night. Generally I wake up in the middle of the night from the nightmares and then go back to sleep so I lose most of them. I hate the bad dreams that repeat over and over in your head -- you're awake so you know it's not real, but yet the minute you drift towards unconsciousness it attacks again... yuck. As for what the dream means, again there seems to be a theme of discovering something shocking about someone you thought you knew well. Althought "you were there" for this incident, and I'm not sure what that means.

The axe attack sounds like it was ripped out of the headlines of the injured Canadian soldier from Afghanistan a few weeks back.

Other than that nothing's jumping out at me.

Yeah, that's pretty disturbing all right. (Now *I'm* going to have nightmares about it.) I was thinking about it after we got off the phone, but the only thing I could come up with is that maybe I represent your athletic/sporty type side. Seeing as how one of the main stories you seem to tell people about me is the breaking-concrete-slabs-with-my-head thing. So then maybe I'm deformed in the dream because you're upset about being sick. And the "this isn't how it's supposed to be" could be because this whole thing was unexpected and you were supposed to go to China.

Still kind of a surface interpretation, but I can't think of anything better right now.

Plus, if anyone's going to represent a disease, the Defroster's a good choice.
