it goes on for thirty chapters too long and by that point twain was fucking full of himself, not to mention the metaphors are obvious (and annoying) and he throws in tom sawyer in the last twenty chapters to up the sales because everybody fuckin' loved some tom sawyer.

interesting the first few chapters, but then i hit brain dead level and asked to be dnr.

i fucking hated that book

(and eric, you should be ashamed that you haven't read it. ass.)

... ok i never finished the whole thing, BUT it was so horrible that i HAD to stop midway.

It's got a sexy intellectual and a useless but key-to-the-plot foreign chick who will undoubtably fall in love with the sexy intellectual even though he is probably twice his age. =] Oh, and it's been made into a movie. Hehe.

The Sound and the Fury

waaaay too experimental for my tastes. The concept is interesting, but it was just a pain in the ass to get through it.
