The Democratic sample ballot had nothing there at all.
If this isn't indicative of the whole problem with the Democratic party, at least in Virginia, I don't know what is.
On the other hand, you're right: things are not as bad as they seem. I am quite stunned by the South Dakota bill being rejected. Maybe they're not all losers in the Midwest, after all!

Fuck this is a close race.
And yes, my biggest problem with the Green party will forever be under a two-party system that any Green ballot takes away from the Democratic ballot. It's nice to vote for the person you feel will represent you the best, but unfortunately it must be accompanied by the realistic fact that one or the other of the TPS will win.
Apathy is a problem and will forever be a problem. I think people are too comfortable in the idea that votes don't count. Except in a state or local election and they count a whole helluva a lot. And can go on to affect federal decisions.
I think it all comes down to shortsightedness.
We are a shortsighted culture.
