Well, the global financial crisis is about to catch up with me. In 1 hour from now I am to sit down in a meeting with the sales director of Random House Australia and he is going to explain, as apologetically and sympathetically as possible, why my position in the company has been made redundant. I will be the fourth and final account manager out
