I barely do, but it's not you, it's LJ in general. I've been making more of an effort, but I don't find LJ all that interesting anymore. I also have too many friends here and don't have the time to read many of the long posts. Sadly, I've been spoiled by Facebook and Twitter and their post limits.

Same here. If I have a comment about your books I post it at TrekBBS. And even though I've "friended" a few Star Trek authors here I rarely post on the personal posts they make because, well, I don't know you. And I never tag people with meme's, etc because I don't want to go from the authors thinking of me as "a guy who reads my stuff" to "an annoying guy who reads my stuff".
