so i slept through my alarm clock this morning, therefore missing class, so i decided to sit here and play ghost recon 2 and post some random pictures on here for all ye to enjoy.

The one with the sun. Because when I thought about them both separately, I decided why have the one without the sun when I can have the one with the sun?

the one without the sun has an interesting dynamic on the surfboard though

The one without the sun has nice highlights on both of the figures and the surfboard. Also, the weight of the guy standing is obvious in the sand in the one without the sun and that is neat. Plus, a different view on a beach scene with surfers and a sunset is refreshing.

it's a hard decision! i like both the photo with the sun, and without the sun. In most traditional pictures of the beach/sunset/surfers, there's a sun. And it's nothing too special except for "gods natural beauty" or whatever the fuck you want to call it. without a sun you have to think a lot more. Like, where is the sun? did you just cut it out of the picture, or did it already set? Since i am actually questioning these things, i'd go with the one without a sun.

i like your pictures a lot. i hope you're doing well in SF.

i saw in ashley's pictures faith, and ashley said that you two know each other. i knew faith a long time ago because she was good friends with my ex boyfriend (she was even in a band with him...). For some reason i don't think she'd remember who i am, but she invited me to her rollerskating birthday party. i attended.

hey stephanie! thanks for the feedback, just the kind of critical input i desired, while i knew that theres nothing too original about surfers on the beach at sunset i was just really hung up on which i preferred more and not really sure why, i dunno, theres something about the rim of light on the board in the one w/out the sun that really appeals to me, so yeah, thank you again. sf is going really well and i actually asked faith if she remembered you and she said yes, so dont feel like your forgettable! faith is awesome, i didnt know her in slo but met her my first week up here and having fun and whatnot. good to hear from ya. i like yer pictures too, always a delight.

upon further inspection i also like the cleaner seperation of the two figures in the one without the sun, i think one without sun wins.
