how much hemingway have you read? If you like him read more of him, because pretty much everything he's written is gold. If it's been a while since you've read him, give him another chance. If you do so, start with the old man and the sea because it's short. If you've never read him before, dive right in because I can really see you liking him.
I would recommend the old man and the sea because it's short (probably only 80 pages or so) and give you a good idea of what Heminway's about. His writing is sparse and to the point, but what he lacks in excessive detail he makes up for in being a toal badass. If you like that, go for whom the bell tolls or the sun also rises.
house of leaves. um its about a house thats sort of in another dimension. but this guy like finds this manuscript written about the footage from the fucked up house. the manuscript was written by an old blind man. the guy sets out to transcribe his findings, and ends up going insane.
even though i am an illiterate asshole, i would have to say that i recomend "No Mercy: a journey into the heart of the congo" by Redmond O'hanlon. amazing non-fiction about a few guys who go into the congo in the 60's. it reminds me of mike fay and nick nichols. fucking crazy stories and we will go there together before we die. so you should read it and save hemingways adjectives for later.
It's a sci-fi book about a really smart little kid who is selected to be an army general to fight in wars against aliens. It's fuckin awesome. I'd actually call it a war book before calling it a sci-fi book.
