everyone should call john and wish him a good birthday cuz he really likes attention. in honor of him everyone should somehow inconvenience themselves in some way today and then let hom know about it.

this was obviously a good marketing scheme because john got more birthday phone calls than any other of his birthdays. which made him feel extra happy.
