Well boys and girls, tommorow I'll be sailing in the Around Long Island Regatta. I'll be aboard Diane (in Division 04 on the scratch sheet), the same boat I sailed with two years ago. That time we came in fourth in division, and this year we're hoping to do better.

See you all past the finish line.

When you think about it, Neptune's Car sort of makes sense.

Do you have a specific duty as part of the crew, or do you all just figure it out as you go along?

I'm pretty sure that I'll be leading the foredeck, but the Captain's son just subbed onto the crew, and I don't know if he'll trump me.

We'll also be each be taking watches at the helm and in the cockpit. I think we'll have staggered four hour shifts, with two of the five of us formally on watch at a time.
