Remus lupin was terrified when he could not find Hermione Granger. She was not in any of the usual places and she did not floo. Hermione always flooed when she was going to be late or if her plans changed He saw the worry in the order’s eyes knowing the worst must have occurred. The fear was confirmed when Kingsley Shacklebolt entered and reported that a contact saw Hermione being grabbed by a follower of Fenrir Grayback. Remus felt the eyes of his “brother” Bill Weasley fall on him while the order chose to look at anything other than him. They did not have to say what they were thinking, it was as plan on the noses on their faces. Greyback his sire took Hermione as revenge for Remus turning his back on his clan and honoring his wizard roots. It was considered a terrible insult by the werewolf kind to shun their clan. The werewolf knew one day they would lash out but never in his wildest dreams did he think Hermione or Bill would suffer for his sins. It was his responsibility now to get her back even if it meant returning to the pack he so despised
He heard Bill walk in as he was packing his things. “Please don’t do this Remus. “
“I don’t have a choice Bill, she is an innocent…”
