I sent 2 applications today.

I'm REALLY thinking about looking for a new job. I love what I do and the kids and people I work with, but I HATE my work schedule. It's so unhealthy for me at this point in my life. So I'm seriously wanting to find something else. The biggest problem is that I've got to find something I'll like and that pays about the same.

Okay, so I called in this morning as soon as I woke up and told them I was sick and wouldn't be in today. That was a lie. I was not sick at all, though I did dream about being sick. My bathroom has walls!!!! ALLLLL the way around now, no awkward openings between the bathtub and the kitchen! LOL. My dad and uncle put up the drywall yesterday... dad will finish the mud work today and it'll be ready to paint!!! I am so thrilled. My dsl works now.. I guess it wasn't my phone jacks.. it was Verizon.. grrr!

What is the world coming to? My 84 year old grandma has been using the internet for 5+ years now. She surfs the web and just amazes us. Today I was chatting with her on AIM and she used the phrase "LOL". It just cracks me up to think of this little old lady using web slang!

I sat in my living room at lunch time today and my whole house started to shake and there was a really loud noise that lasted for a minute or two. My cats went flying across the room away from the front door. I heard a train going by and so thought maybe there was something going on.
