dude, all that effort that went into my tripod entry and i waited for all that time just to find out that my video was under the pixel limit. so i get this email saying sorry your entry wasnt counted for that reason. that sucks so much ass. meh, next time i'll get a better camera

You'd reckon they'd send you an e-mail about that before the competition ended so you could try and send them a better copy, wouldn't you? 'Specially since you submitted yours a while before the deadline, didn't you? Yeah, I'd be a bit pissed off too. Well, I mean I guess they have rules to uphold and stuff, but it must still be disappointing for you.

If it's any consolation, it turns out that the show's a bit dodgy anyway. I don't think they factored in just how goddamn hard it was going to be to make work. I think Scod probably wishes they'd never bothered ('cause he's the one who has to try and keep them in time with the video. Man, do I feel sorry for him). It was still fun... but dodgy at the same time.

it was still fun making the video, and it gave me something to do for a few weeks. im still really interested in seeing yours. are you gonna put it on youtube or anything?

Yeah, I've been thinking I might do some kind of upload after the show's finished, if Tripod don't stick 'em up on their website or something. So I guess it'll be up in a couple of weeks, one way or another.
