Here's a commissioned portrait I recently finished. The horse is a young Trakehner gelding. 8x10 inches, graphite pencil.

In other news, my computer situation has just become more lame. The hard drive in my new computer has to be replaced and now one of my external hard drives for backup has apparently crashed. Since my computer was in the shop (for what I thought was going to be less than a week and ended up being more than a month and a half), my external back-up drives were the only copy of my stuff, except for a few selected things that were backed up on CD at some point. So this drive that has crashed means I've lost a ton of stuff - about 10,000 photos and a whole bunch of home movies and stuff. I'm not letting myself believe that it's truly gone yet. Maybe there's still some way it can be salvaged. I don't know what I'd do without Ben. He's really been helping me through this mess, trying to help save my data and keeping me sane.
