Today's temperature: FUCKING COLD

For those of you interested in specifics, it's -29 C. With the windchill, it feels like -44. Happy Thursday, everyone.

I think the mild winter we've had so far has spoiled me. Even the short, 5-minute walks to and from school today were far too long for my liking.

I stayed home... Really cold with bad cough, not good combo. Unfortunately, though, tomorrow I have a midterm, else I would stay home again. Sucky wind. Argghh... Yesterday afternoon's wind was so bad the area around my eyes (which were mostly covered, I had like a small slit just large enough to see out of) was so painful from walking across the street that it felt like someone was stabbing me there. I don't think they should make anyone go out in that kind of temp.

Such lovely weather. I walked to school today, too - because I'm nuts, obviously - and had the disconcerting experience of feeling the moisture in my beard slowly freeze to solidity during the 30 minute trip.

I was told that last night it was supposed to get down to -50C with the windchill. I don't know if it did, though. But mmm. I love cold weather...
