The upshot is, while working on Dark Angel, Michael Weatherly and Jessica Alba started seeing each other and eventually became engaged. The relationship didn't work out because, well, it was a celebrity relationship, and hello, she was 19.

I actually liked what I have seen of House, but I dislike medical dramas as well, and it just couldn't pull me in.

Yeah, that engagement sort of threw me. It was weird. He possibly feels the same way now, if he's willing to make amusing references to it on his current show.
