This weekend was unbelievably incredible. Incredibly excellent. Excellently AWESOME.
Here's how it went down:
DECEMBER 10
Before Party - Bill's House
Marco got here around 2:00PM, and Ian arrived about an hour later. Ian brought about sixty wings, which was a bad idea, because Marco ATTACKED and ate about half of them. It was pretty ugly, really messy. We still have tons of Medium wings, though. If the Smart Corner wants an insanely unhealthy breakfast one of these days, I can bring the leftovers. XD Naji talked to us online from his house, and told me that we might be expecting more people. Great! Michelle expressed an interest in coming, but we couldn't reach her. Sorry, Michelle! You and whoever you wanted to bring would have been welcome. George and Naji came over around 6:00PM, and the party picked up pace. It became a race to see how we could possibly all get ready with only one bathroom and two hours to spare. Somehow we managed, and I don't think anyone had to share a bathroom with Marco.
Mrs. Marsh rocks, as she was willing to stop by and give us some riding space! Ian, George, and Naji were all meeting their dates at the Cotillion, so they left the house just when Constanza pulled into our driveway. In case I didn't mention it, every time Cat comes to my house, there are around six more people than usual trafficking through the front door. I'm not sure how that works out! At any rate, Cat and I had to wait for Marco's date, Kari, to get to my house... long story short, we got there about twenty minutes late.
Holiday Cotillion - ES-M
IT WAS FREAKING PACKED! I've never seen a dance that busy, and when we first walked in, I could have sworn there were more kids from OTHER schools than OUR school. We waited in the lobby lines for another fifteen minutes or so, and Mrs. Mitchell met Cat (Mitchell: "A genius, huh? Ooooh...!! *proud grin*") Get in the gym, and I start taking snapshots like a madman. Here's what you all want to see!
We found Eric, so I couldn't help but get a few shots of him being Eric.
"I WANNA ROCK!"
"I'm a hustler, baby! I just want you to know..."
Meanwhile, others are getting their grooves on:
Patented Pants-Wearing Creamy Skank.
For those of you unfamiliar, this is the Conan O'Brien Skank.
"The fancy cars... the women and the caviar... you know who we are..."
I took some nice pleasant shots of some, just for normalcy's sake:
Tyler. Best dressed. Spectacular.
I haven't spoken to Georgia and Laura in YEARS! I missed you two. XD
Who's that hideous man with his arm around the beautiful woman?
I took this randomly, but Chris said it was the first recorded evidence of him ever cracking a smile. ...Hi Drew!
HOW CUTE. Everyone go, "AWWW..."
The Almighty Creams, and his date, Kari. Kari was really nice, I hope she had fun hanging with us. Oh, this shot took seven takes, by the way.
I had to introduce Cat to Michelle and Olivia. I'm glad we ran into you guys there!
I have no recollection as to why I wanted to take their picture upside down. But I wanted to leave it like that, too.
Now, this would seem like a really sweet photo...
But let's back up a tad... Thanks Ian. XD
After all the nice pictures, they played several songs that sparked Ghetto-offs: (With Ian, there was no contest)
"I asked you nicely, don't make the Dogg lose it."
"It ain't where I been! It's where I'm 'bout to go..."
"Pimpin' all over the world."
And finally, our /b-tarded moments:
*FGSFDS*
DO DA MONGLA
Happy?
By this point, Marco had gotten pretty drunk...
So we decided that it was time to go home. I know, I know, Denny's would have been really nice, everyone... but Marco was way too trashed, honestly. I wouldn't want to get the whole party thrown out just because he was doing his infamous Secret Rendezvous Freestyle on top of the check-out counter.
All-Night Party - Bill's House
Again, this was free to anyone who wanted to come, but we didn't really advertise it, considering we couldn't fit everyone in our cars. It ended up being Me, Cat, Ian, Steph, Marco, Kari, Naji, and George who came back to my place. We gave Cat, Steph, Kari some complimentary Chinese slippers (as per usual) and I sparked the midnight festival the way all parties should be commenced: MICHAEL JACKSON NUMBER ONES DVD. Actually, this was the whole party. Cat and I took my futon, Marco took his entire futon, and forced everyone else to sit on the floor while we watched the progression of MJ's career through the years. George said that MJ stands for Michael Jordan, not Michael Jackson, so I sent him on his way. Cat and Steph left around 1:30 in the AM, and Marco, Ian, and I all slowly progressed into a insomniac stupor. By 5:00AM, I don't think we were even speaking coherent English. Went to bed around 6:00AM... Woke up around 11:00AM. Got dressed really quickly, ate a custardly donut, and zipped over to Alex's house!
DECEMBER 11
Brunch Party - Alex' House
Normally, I really hate brunch. Just the concept of brunch. Lunch is a great meal, but I hate almost all breakfast food. Why mix the two together? I made an exception for Alex, and I was not disappointed. I can't help but respect a buffet with much bacon and crumbcake galore. We must have been kind of giddy from the lack of sleep and the night before, because I don't think Chris and I stopped singing for about two hours. Marco performed our percussion. We played Hanky-Panky. I came in third, behind Olivia and Matt MacDougal. XD Watched The Grinch (person-version), threw doggy chew toys at each other... a fun time was had by all! A great after party, thanks for having us over, Alex.
Personal Party - Bill's House
Not really part of the sequence, but it was part of MY weekend! Cat is going back to Chile this week... I won't be able to see her for quite a while, so we managed to convince our parents to let us meet ONE MORE TIME before the weekend was over. Of course, keeping up my reputation of giving the dorkiest movie-dates possible, I enlightened her to the world that has been pulled over her eyes to blind her from the truth- The Matrix. I mean, I know I'm deprived for not having had seafood until just last week... but not seeing The Matrix!? I couldn't stand for it! I hope you had fun, dollface. XD It was really great to make plans again before Cat left, hopefully we'll make some late plans for the holidays.
Okay guys, that was my weekend. If you read this whole thing, I demand that you comment. XD
Seriously though, thanks to everyone who hung out with us, I had a lot of fun.
