She says yes without hesitation and he still has no idea that there's isn't anything she wouldn't do to help him.
Sigh. If Booth only had a freaking clue as to how much she really does feel for him. He used to know, he really did. Now he's all confuzzled and second-guessy. And yet somehow, his hotness seems to be inversely proportional to his confidence these days. Go figure :P
Lovely inner-Booth musings hon!

I know right? I think it's that whole pouty little lost puppy dog look he gets sometimes on his face. It just makes you wanna hug him even more.
Oh, Booth.
Thanks for the kind and lovely words, my friend! ♥

She tags along with him the next morning to the FBI Academy. Her arm finds its way atop his before they walk into the door and by the time they actually walk through it, it is his hand that is on top of hers. There's not a doubt in her mind that he'll be able to do this and that he'll be able to do it well. And knowing that-- knowing that belief she has instilled within him unconditionally, he feels like he could do anything.
The comfort of that action creates such a lovely image and the response it invokes in him is just beautiful.
Fantastic job. ♥

Heh. :)
I'm glad you pointed out what you did, because I really feel like that's something she'd do. Especially after seeing the way she was at the end of 5x06. She may not always outrightly show it (and especially not to him but she worries. She really really does).
Thanks, as always, Liz! ♥ *glomps you*

You know, I liked the way the episode played with words --- and your tie-in with words and vocabulary - neatly done. :-)

And I liked it was well. It definitely was a very quotable episode, don't you think? :)

This: And if she's in danger, then he's gotta do what he can to protect her. No matter what. is exactly what I was thinking during that scene, but you've clarified it and put it in Booth-terms and it was perfect.
Thanks for this.

And that look that Booth had on his face at the end there?
He was totally thinking about Gordon Gordon's words of wisdom: hope and patience.
Thanks for reading!
