When I finished reading this, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. You can ask my roommate...this got to me hardcore.

I got shivers, too. (Lame, whatever. This fic got to me.) Like, actual, legitimate, ohmygawd, so romantic, but not flights of fancy, totally real shivers.

He stands up and throws his jacket on before helping her thread her arms through the sleeves of hers. His arm instinctively curls its way around her waist and he temporarily ignores the pointed looks he's getting from the man still sitting at their table.
That's my favorite part. I don't know why, either, maybe because it's what you do when someone wants you to tell someone you're in love with them, your friends, the people on your side, they want you to just man up and do something about it. That struck a chord with me...and B&B just go on being themselves, doing what they do, no matter what other people think about them in that moment.

So, in short: thank you for this, it was lovely to read this lazy Saturday afternoon.

I totally get what you're saying about how it's one of those things you do when "someone wants you to tell someone you're in love with them."

B&B do things that bring that point up, all the time. :)

I'm glad you feel that way! I usually don't step out of my way, and write characters other than Brennan and Booth (mostly for the fear of not getting their voice, right), so you have no idea how happy it makes me to hear that you think I get these characters consistently, right.

You really do. I mean, I get so excited when I see on my friends page that you've written a new story! Brennan is always more difficult to voice for me, but you've found a really graceful way to give her the scientific edge she needs, mixed with the vulnerability growth we've seen from her in the past 5 years. I can't wait for more stories from you!
